It’s been a while but hopefully it’s worth the wait to see Julie and Robert’s beautiful wedding day pictures.
The couple were married at Bury Parish Church in September.
My day started at Julie and Robert’s home and quickly met her sister and father. Julie appeared in her wedding
dress looking radiant and with a big smile. My favourite picture of the day is her father greeting Julie with a
kiss on her face and a whisper in her ear……. a beautiful moment.
Then it was off to meet up with Robert and best man Mark at the church. A quick handshake picture then
off they went into church to greet their guests.
The bride arrived on time and together Julie and her father walked up the aisle.
A beautiful service full of smiles (and a few laughs!) was witnessed by family and friends. After signing
the register the newly married Mr and Mrs Keene walked down the aisle and out into the Bury sunshine.
A few group shots were taken and guests left to go to the reception a short distance away.
However, you will see that Julie and Robert wanted to re-create the famous Abbey Road Beatles shot…
…. in Bury town centre! And it really worked….. great idea!
A few shots were taken in church, outside church and on the nearby cobbles then it was off to Bury’s
Bolton Street Station. An amazing venue for a wedding reception.
Tea and cake was served on the platform followed by speeches. I whisked the bride and groom
away to the top of the platform to do a few shots and returned to photograph the happy couple in the
steam engine! Lovely and toasty in there I can tell you..!!
The ‘Wedding Special’ was ready to depart with all the guests for a wonderful meal so I left everyone
to end the day celebrating with the bride and groom.
Thank you Julie and Robert for asking me to record your very special day. It was truly amazing.
